Patriots’ Hunter Henry gives away 50 bikes to foster kids

May 9, 2025 | Press

We had an unforgettable day in honor of National Foster Care Month at our Bikes giveaway event! Thanks to UnitedHealthcare, Hunter Henry, the New England Patriots, and Guardian Bikes, over 50 kids in foster care received brand-new bikes, helmets, and accessories – plus the chance to ride them at Gillette Stadium!

Hunter Henry said it best: “They make more of an impact on me.” Hunter even brought teammates Drake Maye and Antonio Gibson to join in the spirit of giving back. These smiles and moments of freedom will last a lifetime.

Thank you to our partners for helping shine a light on the vital work Communities for People does on a daily basis to support youth and families in foster care. Huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible!

The event was featured on 8 TV broadcasts plus ESPN and Sports Illustrated.

Many of our foster parents have been with CFP for years — even decades — because of the strong sense of partnership and community built along the way.
