Communities for People offers home-based support services to eligible youth and their families aimed to preserve the family unit in their home and sustain long-term wellbeing.

In-Home Therapy (IHT)

In-Home Therapy (IHT) is a MassHealth-funded service for youth aged 3-21 with social, émotionnel, or behavioral challenges and their family members. IHT is provided in the family’s home and other community settings. The service includes direct clinical intervention, 24/7 on-call phone support, coordination with the family’s provider team, and connection to community and natural resources.

Services de soutien familial améliorés (EFSS)

Enhanced Family Support Services referrals are made through the Department of Mental Health (DMH) for children and young adults up to age 22. EFSS helps families achieve the goals outlined in their DCF service plan, overcome significant stressors, and reunify after a residential placement. Services are provided in the family’s home and range from family mediation, strategies for managing behavior, santé mentale, daily structure, and/or supervision in the home, assistance accessing basic needs, and ensuring safety, santé, Et le bien-être de tous les membres de la famille.
